Technical Support Engineer

Provide direct technical support to customers including:
  • Basic troubleshooting on networking, LAN, WAN, PC, products etc.
  • Collection, analysis and change recommendations of configuration information
  • Collection and analysis of customer network information
  • Collection and initial analysis of packet trace information
  • Recommend corrective actions based on analysis
  • Provide customer education where needed due to gaps in networking, product knowledge etc…
  • Consultation of technical documentation, bulletins and release notes for known problems
  • Follow up on technical cases including proper escalation and management of the case until case closure.
  • Work with customers/employees to identify computer / network problems and provide necessary assistance or solution
  • Keep records of customer/employee queries
  • Analyze call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems
  • Update self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves
  • Work with field engineers to visit customers/employees if the problem is more serious
  • Test and fix faulty equipment
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports
  • Candidate must be at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): capable of troubleshooting hardware computer software & networking problems, very optimistic & highly motivated and can work with minimum supervision, Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset., Window OS, Windows Server 2008 / 2012, Microsoft Office.
  • Required language(s): English, Filipino
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Voice Recorder / IP PBX/ Voice Telephony/ Structured Cabling or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position available.
