Job Summary
 
Resolve known and routine technical issues. Take end user’ calls/email and create a support request on the ticketing system. Guide the end user through pre-specified procedures that identify and resolve the problems.
 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Answer questions or inquiries from customers and prospective customers about technical issues.
  • Provide desktop and server support.
  • Support and maintain MS server/Desktops and MS Exchange.
  • Set up and configure new laptops and desktops.
  • Install authorized software like antivirus to laptops and desktops.
  • Patch network and phones.
  • Make Cat 5e network cables when necessary.
  • Maintain and archive Exchange Server mailbox.
  • Set up new and disable expired computer user accounts
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Specification/Skills Requirement
  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Electronics and Communications), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Preferably with at least 1 year work experience in Help support.
  • Must have excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Internet.
  • Must have excellent Windows troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.
  • Must have experience in configuration and troubleshooting of Mail-based systems (MTA/MUA) and general networking.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work full-time and extended hours when necessary.
  • Must be willing to work on shifting and graveyard schedule.
  • Must be able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally to remote offices and to receive training.
