Exact Job Duties to be Performed:
  • Configure, maintain and monitor network security technologies as assigned to support engineering initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Security Engineering and other internal teams to resolve technical challenges related to network security technologies.
  • Analyze the results of quality review from other staff and make recommendations to address gaps in the current solutions and/or to improve overall security.
  • Learn and contribute to Security Engineering policies and procedures.
  • Learn and follow compliance and security requirements as they relate to assigned technology.
  • Maintain technical and operational documentation.
  • Provide secondary support for other security tools and technologies as assigned.
  • Provide evidence as directed, to support audit and compliance initiatives.
  • Continue self-development of knowledge, skills and abilities to better support execution of the Security Engineering team.
  • Develop effective teamwork and leadership skills.
Skills and Abilities:
  • College degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience with network security solutions such as intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, network activity monitoring, network activity forensics.
  • Experience operating within a large scale, global network
  • Preferred certifications include: CCSA, CCNA, CISSP.
  • Solid experience in at least two of the following:
    • Intrusion Detection / Intrusion Prevention
    • URL Filtering
    • Network activity capture / monitoring
    • DLP
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow and maintain process documentation
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, global environment.

Located in Mandaluyong City, GPPCI commenced operations in December 2010. The Global Service Center provides 24-hour, 7-day-a-week service for Global Payments’ worldwide customer base and will support many of the regions where Global Payments does business including: the United Kingdom, North America, Central and Eastern Europe, and Asia Pacific.
