Job Description
 
As a Front End Web Developer working for M2.0 Communications Inc, you will be required to code, test and implement web and other applications using current standard methodologies. There are a few musts:
  • Must complete needs analyses and assessments to determine systems methodology best suited to end-user goals.
  • Must work closely with staff members and vendors to plan and implement projects for using web systems within an overall project design.
  • Must participate in regular content and functionality pushes to the web, including testing and validation, troubleshooting any issues, and following the change management processes.
  • Must research, evaluate, and recommend new tools and applications. Must create and revise technical documentation to aid in future development and troubleshooting.
  • Must establish and maintain good communication and working relationships with staff, end users, and others to ensure highest level of productivity and effectiveness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Creation of site layout/user interface from provided design concepts by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Develop, create and manage new websites and landing pages
  • Responsible for ongoing maintenance of existing Client sites, including theme customizations, updating static content via FTP and manipulating database content via PHPMyAdmin.
  • Responsible for coding and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications.
  • Placement and layout of web site pages given client provided content.
  • Development of robust and user-friendly web applications.
  • Design and creation of relational database schemas.
  • Application/Framework design as needed.
  • Specifications/Requirements gathering as needed.
  • Routine daily maintenance of existing sites and applications.
  • Adhere to established standards and procedures in coding and implementation
  • 90% coding and 10% design
Minimum Qualifications
  • HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Angular, PHP, SQL
  • Candidates should have proven PHP and Angular.JS experience as well as a solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming.
  • A solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
  • Understanding the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO are a plus.
  • Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution.
  • Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients’ timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to grow professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.
  • Awareness and pride in 100% client satisfaction.
