Job Description
  • Develops and expands a portfolio of commercial clients by networking and marketing
  • Assesses client needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
  • Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
  • Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
  • Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by the vTech through testing, demonstrations, and research
  • Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
  • Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
  • Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
Job Qualifications
  • Should have knowledge of Microsoft Azure Sales
  • Understanding of Private, Public and Hybrid cloud – IaaS and PaaS Services
  • Should have experience selling cloud services as MSP
  • Preferred – Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification, would add great value
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related IT Sales field is required for this position.
  • Experience in Business Development or Client Relationship Specialist
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skill in prioritizing and triaging obligations

Job Responsibilities
  • A business development professional has three primary responsibilities:
    • 1. Identifying new sales leads
    • 2. Pitching products and/or services
    • 3. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Day-to-day duties include:
    • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
    • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
    • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, scheduling meetings and timely follow ups
  • Other typical duties include:
    • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
    • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
    • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills
    • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
