The Policy Coordination and Monitoring Division (PCMD) of the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, Emerging Technology Research, and Development (PCIEERD) is looking for a result driven, analytical, detail oriented and resourceful individual to fill the vacancy for:
 
(10) Information Systems Analyst II – Web Developer
Contract of Service
SG 16 (Php 43,953.60/mo)
 
QUALIFICATION:
  • Must be a BS Degree holder in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or any related course;
  • Must have a minimum of 1-year relevant technical experience in Web development using PHP, HTML, CSS, ASP, Javacript/JQuery, and SQL statements in a Client-Server Environment;
  • With at least 4 hours relevant training;
  • Knowledgeable in operational and procedural aspects of computer systems, hardware, software and peripheral equipment;
  • Must have a knowledge with different web frameworks especially with, not limited to, Laravel Framework;
  • Knowledge in securing system applications, design and deployment;
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints/concerns and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel and be involved in other activities in the Council;
  • Must be agile, team-player with professional IT ethics, good working attitude, commitment and dedication to job;
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision;
  • Possesses good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Conducts systems analysis and recommends systems interventions and appropriate technologies;
  • Develops application systems related to core business processes and operations of the council;
  • Configures and maintains appropriate web and database services for hosting of information systems and network access;
  • Helps in the preparation of relevant documents and provide technical support to computer users;
  • Maintains proper coordination with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. and -users, contractors) and work with the IT team in the development of IT plans and in carrying out IT-related activities;
  • Tests and deploy information systems developed;
  • Helps in the conduct of end-user’s training; and
  • Performs other duties of a regular or special nature as assigned.
