The Policy Coordination and Monitoring Division (PCMD) of the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, Emerging Technology Research, and Development (PCIEERD) is looking for a result driven, analytical, detail oriented and resourceful individual to fill the vacancy for:
Information Systems Analyst II – Web designer/UI Developer
Contract of Service 
SG 16 (Php 43,953.60/mo) 
  • Civil Service Eligibility or PRC License is an advantage but is not a requirement;
  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related courses;
  • At least 1 year of experience with basic frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and JavaScript;
  • At least 1 year experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular, Vue JS, and Alpine.Js;
  • Understands server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS;
  • Good understanding of popular frontend CSS frameworks including bootstrap & tailwind css;
  • Proven expertise in developing single page applications (SPA) using techniques including routing, client-side templating, and consuming JSON-based RESTful APIs;
  • Proficient/Understands cross-browser compatibility issues and can look for ways to work around them;
  • Understands/proficient in development tools including git, npm, yarn;
  • Good understanding of SEO principles and in ensuring that applications will adhere to them;
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
  • Must be a team-player, with good working attitude, commitment, and dedication;
  • Result-oriented, analytical and can work under pressure with minimum supervision;
  • Possesses good interpersonal, and written, and oral communication skills.
  • Convert or create UI/UX design from wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application;
  • Develop new user-facing features ;
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
  • Convert designs or ideas into responsive code;
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;
  • Optimize application for viewing on mobile devices and desktops;
  • Collaborate on work specifications with other team members and stakeholders;
  • Update and maintain frontend JavaScript & CSS frameworks.
