Job Description
We are seeking a team-focused individual, to perform a key role within our organization in providing managed services to a variety of shared services and enterprise customers.
Customer is currently onboarding a number of key customers, hence our need to grow our support teams.
The main focus of the role is to provide excellent (Level 2) technical service to enhance the ability of our support teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Previous experience in supporting Meraki and or Fortinet environments will be highly desirable.
Experience with supporting within a service provider environment is ideal for this role. You will need to be Cisco certified with a minimum of a CCNP/CCNA  that is current. Your English / Australian communication and people’s skills should be effective with the ability to easily build rapport.
Comscentre has transitioned to a work-from-home environment since the start of the quarantine lockdowns and will continue to do so until the pandemic is managed to an acceptable risk level.
To be successful in this role, the following skills are desired;
  • Exceptional (English) written and verbal communication skills is a key requirement for this role.
  • A minimum of a current CCNA or CCNP or higher certifications would be desirable
  • A minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with networking in a service provider environment.
  • Experience with Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet products,
  • Minimum of NSE 1-4 Certification is an advantage
  • Experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN implementations
  • Experience in supporting and maintaining MPLS and SDWAN networks
  • Excellent diagnostics and resolution skills.
  • Contribute to a high powered and high output team
  • Build rapport with people quickly and effectively
  • Capable of building long-term relationships with internal customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Strong customer service ethic and focus
  • Self-motivation and ability to work proactively in this busy environment
  • Previous experience in telecommunications would be highly advantageous
