This position is responsible for the management of support team making sure that the application is always available with minimal interruption on the business, provides assistance to Business Units on new initiatives, recommends solutions to new business initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 1. System Support
1.1 Analyzes issues and its impact to business and other applications
1.2 Elevates critical issues to supplier and push for immediate solution
1.3 Recommends alternatives to soften the impact to business
1.4 Ensures resolution time are within the agreed SLA
1.5 Reports impact of the issues to the CIO and BU GMs and keeps them updated until the permanent resolution was provided
1.6 Negotiating, writing and reporting on internal and external service level agreement -
2. Project Management and Support
2.1 Prepares project plan of activities for easy monitoring and management of risks
2.2 Coordinates plans with affected groups, departments and suppliers
2.3 Manages and monitors project budgets and expeditures
2.4 Gathers data and analyzes business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users
2.5 Facilitates discsussions and concensus among various project stakeholders such developers, subject matter experts and clients
2.6 Manages client relations, in addition to meeting with client for project support and presentations
2.7 Sets project scope, priorities, deadlines and deliverable schedules
2.8 Analyzes worflow, delegating project workloads and meeting departmental goals
2.9 Keeps team aware of the development of the projects - 3. Strategies Planning
3.1 Evaluates requirements and recommendation by challenging necessity, usability,clarity and cost
3.2 Evaluates and recommends solutions for new business requirements
3.3 Works with the senior team members to help plan and coordinate both short and long term systems strategy and implementation - 4. Managing, Coaching and Mentoring
4.1 Manages the staff promotions and performance review process
4.2 Provides leadership and manages direct reports in functional areas
4.3 Keeps staff members aware of career advancement trainings offered by HR and encourage them to join
4.4 Develops and monitors performance standards
4.5 Encourages staff to attend training sessions offered internally or externally - 5. System Management
5.1 Plans for system upgrade in anticipation of growth
5.2 Makes recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support business goals
5.3 Manages the day-to-day overall operations of the applications being supported
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- College Degree - IT related courses.
- At least 5 yrs or related work experience
- Project Management
- Analytical Skills
- Knowledge in Retail Business
- POS Systems preferably Storeline, Customer Loyalty
- With Leadership qualities
