Job Summary:
 
Assist the technical support specialist in providing technical support work to company’s IT
infrastructure, ensuring that service levels agreement are being followed. He/she is also
responsible in assisting the Technical Support Specialist in the daily management and
administration of desktop computers and end user support to HO and foreign offices.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
Daily
  • Respond to user request for support - supervise and/or execute diagnostic tests to identify and facilitate resolution of reported troubles
  • Assist in the Implementation of regular preventive maintenance program to ensure operational state of PC workstations and peripherals
  • Assist in the maintenance and updating of hardware inventory data sheet to account all hardware assets in support of audit policies
  • System monitoring every Shift
  • Assist in the Management and administration of SUS server for windows updates and patches
  • Assists in ensuring that workstations are compliant with the defined domain user security/access policies
  • In charge for the setup, configuration and deployment of workstations
  • Assist in doing cabling works
  • Assist in the monitoring of Call center infrastructure
Weekly
  • Back – up tapes for the Database, file server, Email Logs, CD Installers, System tapes for Sterling Bank
  • Assist in updating Hardware Inventory Report
  • Assist in updating floor plans for pc and printer locations
  • Assist in updating computer and network tagging
Monthly
  • Assist In Hardware and Software inventory
  • Assist in updating Service Level Report
Intermittent
  • Helpdesk tasks (pc, printer, attendance and security access controls – biometrics & SOCA, and etc.)
  • Assist in the documentation of Process Flow of the Technical Support Unit
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned by the immediate superior
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Essential Competencies:
  • Bachelors degree of any four year Computer Related Course
  • Must have at least 1 year experience
  • Familiar with MS Windows OS
  • Familiar with Windows XP, VISTA, Windows 7
  • Knowledge in MS Exchange Server
  • Knowledge in Anti Spam Appliance
  • Knowledge in Anti Virus System
  • Knowledge in LAN (Local Area Network)
  • Has a knowledge in IT infrastructure services that includes, DNS, DHCP, WINS and other internet protocols
  • Result-oriented and must have the ability to handle multitask functions
  • Detail-oriented
  • Willing to render shifting hours
